Maybe it's because I grew up on CDs and tapes....but complaining about the price if streaming has always seemed wild to me. It's hilariously entitled. You get damn near the entire music industry at your fingertips for the price of ONE album on cassette in the 90s and early 2000s. How is $10 to $20 a month too much for that? Niggas spend more on weed and alcohol
My public library has an up to date CD library that I borrow and rip the flac files and transfer to my Blackberry Q10 which has a 1TB micro SD Card and there’s also a working last.fm scrobbler on it
There are already a lot of audiobooks on Spotify, will these now be paywalled?
i’m going to start a site where all audiobooks are ai’d by celeb voices. george clooney, gucci mane, ice spice, jimi hendrix, al pacino, dennis hopper, orson wells i’m about to come up on that pirate contraband money 😎
100% will, which is also annoying because spotify doesnt count local files in their stats
that would suck ass because spotify’s stats are open sourced. a bunch of plugins leach off them
i think i would be interested in this tbh
20-30 hours of audiobook listening is 2 books on average. Audible gives you 1 credit for 1 book every month you subscribe for $7.95/month
that + lossless + other inclusions are nice. $20 is a little steep but rids me of one more subscription & i listen to all my podcasts through spotify anyway, so would rather use one app than two
Daniel Ek a fraud
nah, watch his interview Steven Bartlett
the guy is just like everyone else

blackberry q10 is EOL and not supported how tf are you using one as a phone in 2023
To be fair the audio books, for me 30 hours that’s 1 hour a day.
But normal getting 15 hours. And lossless I really only use my AirPods or speakers that are s*** so I don’t really need it
This a pass sticking to my $16 family plan
Airpods can’t even do lossless
Maybe the desktop apps and the smart tv apps will support it though

They might be using one as a music player tbh
Oh yeah imagine paying for music!!
ure not paying for music, ure paying for service. musicians dont see your streaming money
Who tf wants more AI generated playlist features? They already use “AI” it’s called an algorithm.
They want people to listen to less music so bad this is getting ridiculous
Wait for when they will Introduce the tik tok style home Page.
