s*** I didn't knowingly update either...was still showing an artists discography on their profiles last night...wake up this morning and now it's their top songs, an about section that shows how many listeners they have all over, and merch s***...gotta search the album and artist both by name to bring anything up
Screenshot?
Watching a corporate entity get bullied by it's customers into immediate change was hilarious like people could 100% raise the minimum wage if they put that energy into it
they'd get their homes bombed

there's nothing else below the About and Merch so you have to search the actual album title and/or artist to bring up the full albums now...my new releases aren't coming up at the moment either
UPDATE...I closed it and reopened and now seems to look fine with the albums and playlists showing as usual so must have just been glitching or some weird s***
thank christ apple is the full-on evil empire and they dgaf about all this keeping up with the joneses bullshit so by the time they possibly introduce it for AM it wont look an absolute abomination and will be done at least somewhat properly

The key is to have both Spotify and Apple Music. I use Spotify to make playlists, discover new stuff, etc. I use Apple Music when I want to listen to an album with good headphones (& a dac/amp).

I agree with this, I've been doing this for a while. However end of last year I got super OCD about how my stats were split so now I pretty much exclusively use Spotify, but I still pay for Apple like an idiot cuz I'm scared to lose my local music that's living on the cloud now lol

Yeah, I have a bunch of local files I've uploaded to Apple Music too. I look at it like, for both, you're paying what one CD used to cost before streaming came around, so it's not that big of a deal.

Yea exactly, my life quite literally revolves around music on various levels so I don't mind paying a small bit to have the access
