music streaming is way too cheap
should be tripled the price rn

also eliminate piracy by only making it doable for people purposely running outdated OS that's easily hacked and f***ed over.

eye tracking unblockable ads need to come sooner

It struck expensive deals with well-known figures such as former President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama, as well as Prince Harry and wife, Meghan. More recently, the company has expanded into audiobooks.

with all the aggressive expansion and marketing and the fact that EVERY person I know has Spotify and pays for it AND the fact that they rip artists off with 0.003 cents per stream or something and it's still their THIRD round of layoffs this year and they still struggle to maintain profit

just who on earth convinced us that it's a sustainable business model and the future of music listening. even the business side is so trash they have to cut their own off to please investors

you know all this and you still use it you wack as f*** actually

I dont use Spotify I'm Apple Music gang for life but it's not like they're awesome and ethical either

Music streaming is more competitive though.

Television & movie streaming services can differentiate in their library, music streaming has no such thing. Spotify, AM, Tidal, Deeznuts all offer you the exact same library.

You are correct but I genuinely believe the average user would be too lazy or unwilling to leave Spotify

cant not mention that building your stance off of consumerist choices is a huge reason why people in the US and the west in general have no political or change-inflicting power. once capital owners figured that you can dupe people into moralizing what they spend their money on all hell broke loose. they know its pointless which is why they be raking profits while people are left confused and disorganized

Are you saying we should be paying $300/year ; $30/month to rent music? Lol and then the eliminated piracy and skynet ads

I kinda agree bc albums used to be $5 a pop, 7 to 10 for cds. it made sense why unknown rock bands would have one gold record and live comfortably for a good part of their life. thats literally 2.5 mill off of record sales alone, and the label advance wasn't crazy back then too
