They really need to do something about gear/loot/perks
They’re reworking the gear system. Calling it Gear 2.0, don’t know when they’ll release it
As someone who doesn't play the game i've been watching reviews and the main issues I'm seeing are
Gear perks are mostly behind-the-scene dice rolls with a high damage meta
Enemies can stun lock you to death, you can't stagger them if they have overshields and their projectiles are annoying. They also prioritize only you when playing multiplayer missions solo
I've heard the character combat is great but only with leveled up characters because the movesets to make them great are hidden in the skill tree
The character combat is good but the enemy combat isn't so they don't blend well together
Player characters range damage seems more useful than melee
Player characters that can fly have a traversal advantage
Environments lack variety in multiplayer (Aim labs)
Multiplayer missions aren't enjoyable because they involve stuff like protecting an area, etc and lack variety
Limited villain bosses who are mostly meat shields that you fight like you're jumping a nigga.
I've heard stuff like only fighting robots but then I've seen these same people asking for Ultron, so I zoned out
Can't replay chapters from the campaign
Navigating the multiplayer mission select screen can be confusing and there's currently a problem with earning skins through something called "patterns"
Some of the skins they design don't look very good
The game is buggy. Not as buggy as launch but new DLCs usually come with new bugs
The fan base is toxic. You can't really blame them but interacting with them is a no no
Tony stark talks too much

• Yea gear is pretty uninspired. The perks you get don’t really matter all that much. The status effects I guess would be the more desirable perks to try and get atm. Loot you get from the endgame content is pretty s***ty. The top tier gear “exotics” are rarely better than legendary or rare gear even.
• Partly true. You can get stun locked, but it’s pretty easy to avoid it, even when playing on the hardest levels. The OLT content where all the enemies are shielded, which blocks you from doing combos is a s***ty design. Sorta locks you into playing, and gearing 1 way. Projectile spam from enemies is annoying, not nearly as bad as at game launch though.
• Combat for each character is great. Leveling a character doesn’t take very long at all. Even after they nerfed xp gained, if you’re really trying to grind it out, you can reach max level in like 5 hours give or take. It’s the new “champion” levels that are a real grind, and not much of a reward at the end of it imo.
• Enemy combat is good, has some wonky things, that they’ve fixed since launch. Still some issues like Adaptoids laser beaming you from across the room with 100% accuracy is still occasionally a problem.
• Depends on the character. For Hawkeye, Ironman, and Kate, yea building for range damage is probably better. Idk what the current meta is though tbh. Most Ironman players would gear their Ironman to boost rocket damage and spam it since it’s his highest hitting projectile. I geared mine towards lasers for stunning, and then repulsors and melee. I could do the OLT content just fine with that build. Definitely not the most efficient for it though.
• Flying characters traverse faster than those that don’t. Honestly not a huge deal to me, but people on Reddit love to moan about it. I think The Hulk should jump farther and higher though.
• Yea environments suck. The single player campaign environments are a lot more varied and dynamic in comparison.
• Just not much to the online missions. Lack of exciting enemies, and lack luster objectives. Add that the loot is usually trash.
• Pretty much. The new Cosmic Cube villain sector is a step in the right direction though.
• AIM has been the only antagonist enemy types am they’ve had since launch. Majority of enemies you face are robots.
• Can’t choose chapters to play in the campaigns yea. But you can restart it now at least. its a short campaign so it’s whatever I guess. Recently became aware you can run any of the dlc story content offline which sucks.
• Yea use to be bugs galore. Should’ve been held back another year or 2 tbh. But they e managed to fix a decent amount now… but yea anytime they add something new, expect a game breaking bug potentially.
• The issue with some skins is that the ones they say are adapted/inspired from the Comics often times turn out looking almost nothing like the comic book versions. Also the fact that they’ve said they’re doing cosmetic rework, since like February. They’ve taken away almost all of the skins you could’ve earned through playing the game (outside of challenge cards n a few others) and they’ve just been releasing skins through the cash shop. They’ve started doing sales, and bundles now which so far have been real good for their value compared to stand alone prices. The MCU skins have all been pretty accurate so far.
This s*** is fun. Had it since last year but only played a handful of times. Came back to it the day before the wakanda update and played with my friend… s*** was fun. Played for a long time actually
Been playing the Black Panther s*** today
Black Panther plays well. Costumes are all pretty nice. I’m kinda disappointed with the voice actor. Christopher Judge. Idk what he was on during his sessions but I find the voice to be borderline terrible tbh. The way he talks, sounds so fragmented n like he’s struggling to read a book passage out loud.
T’Challa has like no charisma in this. It’s a shame too, because Christopher Judge is a pretty decent voice actor, but this was just bad. They should’ve got the dude who was the VA for Isaac in Castlevania.
Haven’t beaten the final mission yet, so I’ll hold off on a review of the expansion entirely. All I’ll say is, Wakanda looks great in game. I wish they made a city location that we could actually play in, instead of just the forest and temples.

Have you played through the entire campaign yet for the Black Panther dlc? Maybe there is city environments later in the story. This interests me as well because that's the main reason I wanted to play this game was to see Wakanda in city form. I dont even have the game but was going to buy it since i think i saw it for like 30 bucks on ps5, and especially since the dlc is free.

Unfortunately there is no actual city area. Just the palace hub, and the forest n temples. It was a pretty decent play through though tbh. Short but sweet. Definitely makes you want a full stand alone Black Panther game. He feels so good to play as, especially once you level him up, unlock all his skills, and know how to use them
love playing this for a few hours every week or so
But I hate that it would cost £150 just to get the MCU skins for each character i wanna play with them costumes so bad

Wait for sales n bundles. I’ve spent more than I care to admit on costumes in this game, but now I’ve learned to control myself. I only buy if I really really want it, and if it’s for my main. Even now, since I don’t play much. Maybe 1 hour a day, I just wait for sales. I’m currently waiting on sales for the takedowns.
Might give this another try after I finish last of us 2. Ima assume they fixed the spinning camera glitch by now.
I ran through the main campaign missions very quickly just for the story. Now I can't do the expansions because none of my characters are powered up enough
Not surprising but they said the Spider-Man DLC is gonna be it’s own story with cutscenes/locations etc like the black panther one was
Feel like this should’ve happened a few months ago when BP dropped
