We have dealt with exclusive characters before being locked to a game. It's kind of funny people forget history. Like Soul Caliber II and other games didn't exist.

Each console had its own exclusive character. Sony and MS got the worst characters out of the three while link was borderline broken. The definitive version to get was the GC version because not only did it have Link but ran better also.

Also not a single person cares about exclusives but care about an exclusive character being in a multiplat.

Also who knows this could be like the soul caliber situation and all three get their own exclusive character. It's not like people was buying this anyway.

No exclusive DLC is not "way different" it's the exact same concept as exclusive titles. Again nobody was complaining when Ubisoft was doing exclusive DLC for their games during the Ps3/360 era and into the current generation. Nobody stomped and screamed when Red Dead Redemption 2 had exclusive DLC. Remember when cuphead started to go multiplat but the DLC would be Xbox exclusive and Phil Spencer got in an interview and said it's never coming to PlayStation 4? No? Oh.... But Spider-man being exclusive in a very terrible Avengers game is the end of the world. Y'all gotta stop being selectively mad. This is why Microtransactions exist because people pick and choose what company to be mad at but go and spend money on the exact same concept elsewhere.
