Side note, but I think that sang woo and ol boy that was the bully ( died on the glass game) are opposites of eachother. They’re both manipulative, conniving bullies willing to do whatever they could to reach their end.
sang woo was getting ppl thru trust and foux bonding whereas the other guy could only attract opportunists and pushovers (who are still opportunists) I think the gganbu episode shows this well
Making me think of different playground tropes. I like the show what can I say
Interesting observation
When they realised they could off each other
Seeing 001 @ the top of the bunks movin around like that killed me
At first when he was yelling to stop, and the game actually stopped I thought he was unknowingly controlling the game. I think that could’ve worked to be a cool twist
i really thought the cop was gonna do it too lmao
Basically the VIPs are Hotline Miami
Justice for #240

They really do the women characters horrible in this
So like i said in the main thread, cop still alive right?
I think the old man being the creator reveal shouldve waited until S2 aswell. Takes away the emotional impact of E6

lol episode 6 was best episode then they kind of just said " lets do whatever in this final 3 hours"
I felt like sae missed out on a opportunity of love with her broke my heart watching that
This was the best moment in the show, s*** hurt

lol hurts even more when they play her like that so soon after
I liked the ending, No need for season 2
Give the director money to make something new

something we all agree on
These platforms need to stop letting random people translate their shows

Pretty ironic considering Okja literally says translations are sacred . There are some parts where you can kind of tell it’s being oversimplified based on level of expression
i wouldn’t be surprised if in s2 it turns out sae-byeok dropped down into the organ donation bit and escaped the island
no chance they don’t bring her back considering how popular her character is now

“ a doctor got to her you never saw her body burn she knew the other alternative was guaranteed death in the games” 🔜
Amount of ass pulls in show we kind of allow
Feel like non Koreans didn’t get the full effect of the unmasking scene cause they don’t know the actor who was behind the mask. Dude one of the biggest actors in Korea esp for ppl who are like my parents age lol. Finding out the actor behind the mask was prolly more shocking/exciting than finding out it was the cops brother.
the us equivalent would be like finding out the actor behind the mask was actually brad Pitt.
remembered him from Joint Security Area but i had to look it up first lol
on ep 9 rn. they BS'd the f*** out of this main characters rationale these last 2 episodes. he was already an idiot but nah man
theres no way he thought medics would help her knowing damn well what he's been through seeing 453 others die brutal deaths.
we all knew Song-Woo was f***ed up esp with the Ali situation but he didn't know that....but it was kinda a stretch labeling what he did at the end of game 5 as this big horrible thing that made them enemies. Was pretty straightforward why he pushed the guy
i've hated this character all series tho

Main character the weakest since orange is new black
Just realized how unrealistic it was that #16 was picked last.
You would win by default if the other 15 die before you dont you? How did none of them think about that.
