It needs to be said because stuff is getting out of hand. The fact that there are users on sites like Twitter that will actually do stuff such as "doxxing" you because you say "I don't like BTS" is absolutely psychotic. These people should NOT be allowed to use the internet. It wasn't until recent years that this even broke through to the mainstream.

It’s because of people in this country being raised with the expectation to have this big identity, but when you’re stuck in America or other places exposed to the American lifestyle of endless work and consumption, where you have to work before you live, it’s easier to just attach yourself to a celebrity and live vicariously through them than to remove yourself from making money to be a real person
