yeah its mid with some good parts to it - i do think the concept could be developed on but then again nintendo sucks with shooters, maybe if its outsourced to a 3rd party like metroid it can be good

sucks that the only game from nintendo to majorly use the gamepad is a geniniuely great one - and from star fox of all things that barely gets any attention
