This mf Thrawn looks like a less evil Elon Musk

What was the point of Thrawn sending Baylan and Shin to go kill Sabine and Ezra if they're just going to leave the planet, effectively leaving them stranded in an unreachable galaxy? (as far as Thrawn knew).

Like, moments later, even Thrawn says they can just simply leave them there... Like, huh? Then what was the logic of sending people after them?

Baylan clearly has a different agenda that hasn’t been told to us

Ahsoka is classic Star Wars where as Andor is a more modernized version I would say.

Andor has more going on with it and I think the quality of that show is better. But I really really love to see classic Star Wars with Ahsoka. Feels great.

Ahsoka has this great campy mysticism feel that is so common in old Star Wars media. It brings me right back to childhood in a way and it feels good.

Andor has a more mature gritty rebellion feel to it that me as an adult can really appreciate inside the Star Wars universe.

Ehh you’d have to watch Clone Wars and Rebels to really be up to date, which is an 11 season investment lol. It’s worth the watch imo, but it’s up to you if you wanna wait that whole time to start Ahsoka.

Thrawn isn’t a fan of Jedi, doesn’t really care what happens to them, plus Baylan has his own plans.

in the books he doesn’t really like Vader either

but he has respect for him but yea I think he just generally doesn’t trust force user

you could watch these episodes or just all of rebels, but you can watch ahsoka without it, just adds a lot of backstory

this show is basically rebels season 5 i think seeing rebels is more important than the clone wars if you are going to watch something before it but the clone wars does have ahsoka backstory.. tales of the jedi has good ahsoka backstory also and it’s short

ahsoka's backstory is spilt between 3 shows.. tales of the jedi, the clone wars & rebels but rebels is the only one with direct events that tie into this

Yeah I think he’s always been intrigued/never understood force users so he has a distrust of them.

Also - seeing how Sidious was able to manipulate the Galaxy, exterminate the Jedi order and rule it with an iron fist probably made him more skeptical of force users and their ability to conquer galaxies including the Chiss.

So Thrawn sent Baylan after Sabine, not because he cares if Sabine lives but because he senses Baylan is cooking something and wants to get rid of him. Yeah, that would make sense.

Except, why would Thrawn then send two squadrons to assist Baylan? He said it himself: we're short on men, and.. I could just leave them all stranded there. So, why wouldn't you do just that?

Ik it sounds nitpicky, but it's convoluted for no reason.

Because he most likely wants to get rid of Ezra too especially after what happened at the end of Rebels.

He’d want to ensure Ezra is done for as dude sent him to another Galaxy. He’s most likely distrustful of all (and former) Jedi (Ezra, Baylan, Shin).

Maybe to keep them all busy before Thrawn makes his departure and leaves them behind

Yeah that works I suppose. I feel like there's def some context regarding Ezra Im missing (probably because I never watched the animated shows)

Really enjoyed Rebels. If you can find a series/season recap for rebels it will help a lot.
