https://twitter.com/geeksgamerscom/status/2051312694049812809Do they mean return to Original Characters as in Luke, Leia, Han etc?
That's just moving backwards
All they have to do is leave the Skywalker saga alone lol
fakest s*** ive ever seen
Yeah I doubt they’ll ever actually illegitimalize the sequels but I already act like they don’t exist. Episode 1-6 is just perfect as its own enclosed story about the rise and fall of Anakin Skywalker. 7-8 add nothing at all but sour that narrative

Also Rey is literally in Starfighter
still can't believe how people randomly came across the restoration footage for the original trilogy. s*** looked so beautiful
I’m actually not mad if they go through with this, I’d be fine with The Mandalorian for now, being the furthest point in the timeline.
Only thing I pray they do this, and then make 6 more Imperial Galactic era movies. They need to stop banking on nostalgia
Damon Lindelof recently did an interview talking about Rey’s NJO movie, why he was let go, and what he believes the biggest problem at Lucasfilm currently is.
To sum it up: Movie was about the clash between nostalgia and revision, Lucasfilm loved the premise but after two years there just wasn’t enough nailed down in terms of full story, tone, etc. so they let him go. They’re still struggling with that now on its… 4th? writer.
Most interesting this is, he alluded to the the belief that the biggest problem Star Wars currently faces is that it has no center. When it was just the three trilogies it was automatically understood what the center of Star Wars was, and everything else supplemented that center, but as the franchise has expanded, it’s no longer clear what that is.

I miss being a kid and Star Wars was just 3 old movies and 3 newer movies
As soon as they sold to Disney we knew it would go to hell
Wonder if they'll ever do anything with the 40 underworld episode scripts george lucas commissioned before he sold SW
Anyone here bought the 4K77/80/83 physicals from showtownapparel?

$64 for all 3 movies doesn’t seem that bad. I think I want to go for the DNR version, but non DNR is tempting.
