thank god I just moved from a place where I was getting 5mbps, would’ve taken 2 days to download this and my Wi-Fi would’ve been so slow for those 2 days

Been watching some gameplay videos. Seems like the combat has a faster pace than the first one. Really wasn't a fan of the Souls like pacing when it came to combat in Fallen Order. Genndy Tartakovsky's 03 Clone Wars is my ideal depiction of a Jedi and the powers of a trained Force Sensitive in general, so when I see all this sluggish s***, it's just like . Even Swtor's combat is more animated

I tried giving Fallen Order another shot, but I just really don't f*** with that game The weight of movement and combat is off and not satisfying, attack animations take too long (I'm usually pressing square again before the previous hit lands), the map interface has me feeling like Tobacky and I don't care about the character or plot at all

Sucks because I spent money on the game and the internet required to download it so I don't want to delete it but I also don't see myself ever playing it

Yea this was my biggest issue. S*** just feels unnecessarily weighty. Like I’m playing under water. Way more fun for me to just play a modded JKA or SWTOR and actually feel like a Jedi, than some 1400s knight in heavy armor

Committed to seeing this game through so I can uninstall it and free up storage. It's kinda hitting now Combat is a bit better now that I understand I should do 2 or 3 strikes attacks, then block or dodge. The gameplay loop is kinda addictive, even if it is a Souls ripoff

But weight and movement still just feels off, Cal is more floaty then my brain feels like he should be. I keep dying on basic platforming sections because his jumps are so weird

There's also a general feeling of choppiness throughout the game. You get framerate dips if you move the camera too fast, I just had a cutscene that froze every few seconds, those videos that show you the abilities you can unlock on the skill tree freeze, I wanted to close the game and it froze because I went down the settings menu too fast I wish EA cared about polishing their games more when it comes to this, even FIFA freezes for a few seconds when you're playing offline
