The Obi-Wan show has a lot of dumb s*** in it but the chase scene isn’t among the dumb s***. The discourse around it is in the same tier as, “Umm… how are bombs dropping downward if they’re in space?!?!?!”
Come on man… yes that chase scene was part of the dumb s*** in that show. You’re telling me when you watched that chase scene for the first time you were like “this doesn’t look dumb and trolly at all?”

I’ll concede that Flea not running right away is kinda weird but other than that it’s a very middling ok scene that in no way deserves the obsessive hate it gets. Very strange that people won’t let go of it!

I watched it. The moment captured in the thumbnail is some of the highest (or lowest?) form of cherry-picking I’ve ever seen. I’ll concede that Flea not running right away is kinda weird but other than that it’s a very middling ok scene that in no way deserves the obsessive hate it gets. Very strange that people won’t let go of it!
Wym by cherry picking? This big ass man literally gets stopped by a tiny ass branch, it makes no sense. Bro literally everyone I know that watched it was weirded out by that chase scene. It’s literally one of the worst chase scenes I’ve ever seen in a big budget show. Just a perfect example of how s***ty the show’s writing and direction was. You’re just tryna be different
