feels more like they're just expanding the universe to me...putting more focus on characters that been there but on the sidelines...I prefer episodes like this one and the one about the doctor/Kain to last weeks...plus be honest with yourselves...Din isn't that interesting lol maybe the showrunners realized that and just want to highlight more of the supporting cast bc focusing too much on just Din is gonna get old...mans been pretty one note all season

They need better world building in Star Wars man. Why the hell is a town of like 40 people representing an entire planet?

I understand Navarro is in the outer rim, but to my best recollection they never established if it was just some settlement planet people came to looking for refuge or what? Why the hell is that small as town being framed as the entire planet??

Other than that, cool episode. Lowkey they making Mandalorians seem weak as hell. 4 Mandos should’ve been able to clear out them pirates and what is the deal with their armor? Is it 100% beskar like Din’s or are they using like duraplast or some weak s*** as a substitute? Which is fine, I just wish they would clearly establish that though. If it’s all beskar, they’re doing a horrible job at being consistent with its integrity. Them guys that got hit, should’ve been tanking all them blaster bolts from the blaster pistols easily. Only that machine gun blaster should’ve knocked them back. They made it too strong imo by making it more or less indestructible, and impervious to lightsabers. Should’ve been established that it’s highly resistant to a lightsaber and blaster bolts at best. Season 2 had Din tanking any and everything, which they need to walk back now because it just makes everything trivial.

I was wondering that too. How is grief karga the high magistrate of an entire planet but the whole civilization on the planet is just a small town?

I hate how every episode of this show just sticks to one contained storyline. I feel like it slows the overall progression of the show and adds more fluff.

I want to see Grogu struggling to keep up with his training due to the size difference and overall disconnect from the foundlings. Din taking out villain of the week while building relationships with the other Mandalorians. Bo off recruiting additional Mandalorians, giving us world-building and cool cameos. And the corruption of Coruscant once again, as former members of the Empire make chess moves behind the scene.

I would love to see bits and pieces of all of those in every episode, occasionally overlapping with one another until everything all meets in one or two ultimate climaxes for the season.

How the hell a single ship takes over a whole planet and when they show greef and the citizens of nevarro and it's like 30 people mf that aint a planet, that's a small ass village

if the planet is under developed and you are in charge of the biggest most developed city on it...

If America was all rural and the only city and capital is Boston.. and someone took it over... you basically took over America

It still comes across as unnecessarily goofy. Greef basically had ZERO military power.

It's cool if u enjoy the show, but don't pretend like the writing (in general) isn't sub-par.

I think sub-par writing is baked into most SW projects

Mandalorian isn't good cuz of the intricacy of the writing and the real-world detail

it's the visuals, it's the simplistic father and son dynamic, and seeing a space cowboy interact with the SW galaxy

The show has a lot of dope elements going for it, and I enjoy watching it - but I do wish the writing was a lil bit better. It also feels strangely cheap at times.

THAT show is the deep, detailed, realistic portrayal of everything and the writing is A1.
It's like the Pershing episode of Mando S3, but on steroids and consistent the whole season

This 3rd episode is boring I don't care about this doctor or scientist or whatever

knew she was evil just off the haircut, any time they put a woman with a short hair and a lil muscle mass they always hoeing somebody
