My “theory” as to how they’re going to handle it is that this movie is going to be more of a standalone to introduce the theatrical audience to Mando & Grogu, and I have a sneaking suspicion that Filoni’s movie is going to be Heir to the Empire with a recast Luke, Leia, & Alden’s Han alongside Mando & Ahsoka. The shows (I think) should be supplemental material and not required viewing. But a Mando movie would at least introduce that character to the big screen
