yeah him going on about wanting to bathe at Mandalore to atone felt overly written and kinda lame...premiere was decent and it's fun having Mando and Grogu back but after the top notch writing and directing of Andor I'm hoping Mando steps it up this season as well

1st Eps thoughts.

• Great set design Always thought their was too many humans and deserts in the other seasons and other SW Shows. The Aliens looked amazing. This was prob the first time It actually felt like one of the movies to me. Loved the mix of robots and aliens
• Loved seeing a bunch of mandalorians fight an alien. that's the s*** i wanna see in this show
• They gotta stop with the fetch quest story lines especially after a show like andor. S*** is boring and makes it feel like a video game in the worst way
• Bo katan
  a pretty okay start i feel like ill enjoy it more then season 2 but i still wish grogu wasn't around he doesn't even seem important this season

Not only that, but they reunited them like 4 episodes after their big separation LMFAO

Yeah apparently Grogu was with Luke for 2 years before reuniting with Mando they just did a s*** job making that clear on the shows

bad marketing / i feel like there is a pessimism going into this season by most people over the direction.

atp i just see grogu as a companion of sorts which idt is a bad thing. no different than R2-D2 and his relationship with past characters. he has no endgame, just there to save the hero occasionally (albeit if there is an issue with him it's that he saves mandos ass too conveniently and too often)

I think the problem is just that this nigga came back on a whole diff show. Makes last season finale seem very off and honestly confusing if you just hop into season 3 after 2. I didn't watch boba fett the only reason i knew he was back was because idc about spoilers.

that is facts. how they handled that s*** was horrid esp considering Boba turned out so average. Those couple episodes within boba that touch on mando and grogu are fye tho lol just went back and rewatched the other night.

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's gonna be his journey but his current mindset is totally understandable. Him going back to Mandalore and bathing in the water will not only atone his sins but also prove that Mandalore is still habitable. He already has the dark saber so they're definitely building towards him bringing back Mandalore and uniting all Mandalorians

Really hurts the flow if you have never seen Boba to just have Grugu still be with Mando. Crazy to think when the s2 finale dropped (most hype Star Wars has been in forever) that this is where we would be for the s3 premiere.
