They got a show coming out called the Acolyte. I think it's set like 100 years before the main story and it's about a sith apprentice
some leaked set photos
yeah i've heard it will be before the prequels
100 years is better but still far too close
it's going to have some of the same issues
a lot of things can't happen, if you think about it their hands are already tied on a lot of story telling fronts
a few things come to mind.. the jedi can't know about the sith at all and there can't be any large scale war/conflicts
if either of these points are changed it goes against stuff in the prequels
it's better than during the time of the empire or first order cause all the jedis stories are set in stone around that time but still not ideal, that's why i mentioned 10,000 years.. even 1000 years would be better tho
the Old Republic era has so much potential for cool s***, dont know why they havent tapped into that yet
yeah the old republic would be awesome
or even before that like the prime jedi and the first jedi order
there are so many possibilities going back in time 1000+ years
yeah i've heard it will be before the prequels

I’d go with 1000 if it’s in the past, and at least 200 in the future.
I have no clue why these morons can't make a Star Wars show about a JEDI that is completely UNRELATED to the old Star Wars movies and AFTER ALL OF THE MOVIES THAT HAVE COME OUT? Make a movie about a new Star Wars Universe.
F*** is it that hard??
Member berries is why

I don't mind it because the prequel era is really cool and it doesn't get explored enough on screen. I'm honestly only tired of the old trilogy era and I didn't like how they basically remade them for the sequels + most content being centered around them

yeah that's true at least its a new era
we barely have any content before the prequels also so it should be interesting

Hell yeah bro. The clone wars cartoon is some of the best Star Wars content ever. I don’t mind more content connected to the prequels. I think 100 years before the prequels is a good time to explore some cool s***. As long as we’re finally away from that original trilogy era
Wonder if the cyborg taking blood from Mando ties in with the Palpatine revival thing down the line

Who cares? We already know he dies so what is the point of even putting stupid s*** like that in the show? Disney is so messed up in nostalgia its pathetic

He means like a connection with the sequels where Palpatine get's revived
Not even gonna lie.
Once Mandalorian is done just shut down star wars.
One of the greatest ip's of all time and Disney has struggled and fumbled for what like a decade to make anything quality. You get random offshoots that turn out well, but it's mostly rolling the dice and failing the majority of the time.
I truly don't think they can save it.
But they'll sure af try.
When marvel inevitably collapses under the weight of its own algorithm and oversaturation Disney is f***ed
This new episode reminded me of Andor
Yeah it was great best episode of the season so far

Real film making isn’t gonna die
Marvel will prevail
coruscant looks incredible

mando and boba fett are the only legitimately bad things to come from them but keep being a sheep..........
First they shoved mandalorian into boba fett
Now they shove andor into mandalorian lmao
watching this tn. episode 2 was fire though. still confused at the lack of interest to this compared to past seasons. i get the boba stuff yada yada yada. just not sure why the general viewer would have soured on this?

no no no. exclude mando. Obi and Boba worst things they've done. Boba wasnt even that bad.

A lot of Obi was pretty dumb but getting Ewan and Hayden back on screen, I think I genuinely would’ve accepted anything they gave me.
Yeah it was great best episode of the season so far
I see people calling the doctor portion boring...no wonder hollywood doesn't try anymore, the public proudly rejects anything that requires thinking

nah I thought it was dope...had me invested in their story even though I knew where it was likely headed and that he couldn't trust Kane||...last scene with them was pretty haunting...||the Mando stuff that started/finished the episode was good stuff too
