Rly hope this plays okay on a series s lol
Same
I mean, after all they are launching a new Series S SKU alongside Starfield’s early-access date, so I assume they’re satisfied with its technical performance (we know Todd is) 😅
The game everyone slandered on release?
They love it now apparently
Speaking with several sources under the condition of anonymity who are currently under embargo and couldn’t speak publically about the game, McVicker’s comment is the same sentiment given by everyone I’ve spoken to. Five individuals, who have a varying amount of time put in the game have all said that the amount of bugs they’ve experienced can be counted on one hand. In fact, most said one or two at most, with everyone I spoke to having put dozens of hours into the game. In addition, it was also said that almost all the bugs that were found have already been listed to be fixed in the Starfield Day 1 patch.
i need to give this game another chance
i’ve heard so much good about but when i played i just couldn’t get into it
i still wanna play the original one too
Yeah, gameplay-wise Prey doesn’t start off too hot. You need the shotgun and alien powers to be able to hit your stride in that game.

Man there’s 1000 + planets and Todd already said there’s some barren planets with nothing on them did you even listen to the direct
Yeah they said like 90% have no life on them. So why are they there? If there’s no content, I assumed it was for the immersion of feeling like you could explore a real universe, but that immersion is shattered when there’s such an unceremonious barrier that halts your exploration.

confirmed by leaks mission board infinite quests send you out to these planets to eliminate POC’s / do miscilanious things where Procedurally generate locations / stuff to do, and the game can generate these quests infinitely. So these barren planets do have stuff to do on them
also you use these planets to get resources to get good equipment and materials
Just because a planet is a barren rock with no life on it doesn't mean there won't be anything to do on it. There will still be resources and locations like quests, facilities, towns, etc. The only difference is that when you look out the window you'll see a big-ass desert landscape.

Ok ok, That sounds pretty cool tbh. I’m eager to see full reviews and gameplay
Debating if I wanna give Fallout 4 another shot. Wasn't a huge fan on launch, but that was 7 years ago. Gonna need something to play while I'm dog watching for my parents next week.
Unless there's an easy way to play/stream Starfield on my Steam Deck

I was looking into that, but will Starfield (early access) be on GeForce Now? If not, I'll prob just get the base version and play when I get home.

Idk. They just added pc gamepass to GeForce now select games. Id hope it would be on it for launch but nothing said about it yet
