I saw 1 or two loading screens (that took way too long at 2 seconds)
One guy didn’t even have tlou2 esque animations
I tried to have s***with an NPC but it didn’t even allow me to roll dice to try to s***them
I had to “unlock” a skill in order to use a basic game feature (sneaking)
Perhaps the worst game of all time

Sep 1, 2023·1 replyYou say it’s bad game design, but I think it’s actually just a choice made by developers to prioritise other parts of the game.
I’ve got 400+ hours in elite dangerous, and if the flight sim aspect of manual take off (which I turn off in ED too), super cruise between planets and waiting room warp scenes were in Starfield I would probably be complaining, these aspects are good for immersion but get boring and tedious after the 20th take off.
I get that people want max immersion, but go play ED for a bit and you’ll see why having really in depth gameplay around space flight is far less fun than you imagine.
