Did you have a quest in his planet or did you land on it randomly? I been reading about landing on random planets and being able to steal and sell ships, but Idk which ones

You don't have to but you get money that you can use to upgrade.

Plus upgrading your piloting makes moving faster.

I need to make a outpost but got to get my money up . Almost done with ryujin sidequest and vibing through some others but making ship upgrades

I did that a lot with Skyrim, those nights with the northern lights, the 3 moons and the mountains

i was doing a mission by earth and wanted to go to the moon so i just pulled up and killed a enemy outpost

I was so f***ing tired but same. I genuinely love this game and think some saying "its just fallout in space" "engine holding it back" or many other things it hasn't clicked for them yet. Space combat getting better cause I upgraded my ship and got a ballistics weapons expert i recruited from a bar its an old white man lmfao. I am swapping out my crew and stuff

in terms of companions though unless I am missing it I wish more you used them they leveled up and had skill trees or stats or different synergies with each other
