I kinda regret rushing the main story but mostly because I had some cool guns and ships that didn’t carry over to ng+. I wish i just stuck to the main story and didn’t do any side content at all until ng+. New game is definitely the place you’ll want to 100% everything

Lol as much as a play through these games I’ll probably do the basic run through whatever happens happens first play through. Wait a few months for mods to come out. Then play NG+ then.

yeah everything resets that’s why people say to rush the story without doing much of the side content on your first playthrough.

you can basically skip the whole campaign right from when you meet sarah, and you get the starborn armor and ship

if you want to yeah, honestly if you’re having fun in your first playthrough doing side stuff there’s no need to rush just know that you lose all that progress when you go to ng

eh save ng+ for later then, no big deal ultimately. you could 100% the entire game before ng+ and I’m sure you’d still have fun on a second playthrough, even if there’s a “better” route according to me or anyone else

levels, perks and powers don’t reset, gear does
