I always skip the skyrim main story lol and just explore the map, do dark brotherhood, guilds, then dlc

I only do the first few quests to unlock Dragonborn powers tbh

Fallout 4 main story is at least well made in the sense that you can side with brotherhood, railroad, institute in the end etc and they each have their own questlines, and the story changes based on your decisions more clearly than in other BGS games

    True

I just feel like the actual story of fallout 4 is kinda dumb and doesn’t really make sense lol

I just like being the Dragonborn in Skyrim. I just have this weird love of any game that basically acknowledges or gives a reason for your character to be powerful af. I think it’s why I love the idea of the starborn so much

It just makes more sense to me because without a reason your basically just a normal ass person in the world that just randomly has the ability to massacre whole ass settlements lol

Starfield main story >>> all other bethesda games

Oblivion and skyrim side quests >>>

Are there cities in this game aside from the 3 that everyone always mentions? Would be a really cool thing to stumble on out of the blue

Lmao the only Oblivion mentions I've seen is when I said this isn't touching Oblivion and someone agreed with me

Ya I’m figuring that’s just first week hype but truthfully I’m just in a Stockholm syndrome type relationship with Bethesda

Fallout has never been my lane but TES is in my pantheon

When you get to the last suit or when you decide to stop just save right before and keep doing it until you get a good one

Also the oxygen one is kinda worthless with the power

Theres another trait on it I really like I forget what it is though lol

What companions can I get that won't get mad if I kill people and do bad s***, I'm being a little more evil on my NG+

I killed someone by accident once (they ran into my line of fire) and my companion completely hated me after, I had to switch companions cuz they were annoying me after that

My thoughts at about 80 hours:

Bethesda takes the best elements of their previous games and blends them into a masterwork. Starfield is an astounding piece of art with an immediately engrossing world packed with hundreds of hours of dialogue, quests, and an inter-dimensional mystery to unravel.

The dialogue system from Fallout 3 is back and beefed up, traits and skills now both influencing what you can say, making each conversation more dynamic. The mistakes of Fallout 4 have been abandoned, like the limited dialogue choices and voiced protagonist, but they kept in the combat and companion improvements. The leveling system takes what made Oblivion and Skyrim more interesting than other rpgs, the skill system requires more thought as opposed to just farming XP, which makes building your character more rewarding. Bethesda really concocted the perfect formula here.

The history of this universe and everything from its factions, governments, constellation, etc. is some of their best writing too. I haven’t even touched things like ship-building, running outposts, surveying planets, etc. and that just feels like the cherry on top of the cherry at this point. GOTY.
