Like goddamn, I did not expect that.I really feel like Bethesda needs to just say f*** it and fully embrace making a simulator at this point, because their writing, quest reactivity and role playing elements seem to really be dragging them down compared to their contemporaries.
Their strengths at this point clearly lie in simulation and world design.

Critical reception is the same as fallout 4?
If you’re talking about sales then it’s a much bigger launch than fallout 4, so idk what you mean
This is a return to form, they improved the mistakes they made with fallout 4 like the weird dialogue system and the voiced protagonists. And it’s got the rpg mechanics and leveling from elder scrolls. Literally the best of both worlds
Its rather ambiguous if this launch is bigger than Fallout 4s 12 milion in the first week as microsoft claims
I dont think were ever gonna get a fair comparison since the game launches only on one console but on the gamepass too.
As for steam fallout 4 had 470k as peak players and starfield 330k but there is obviously the gamepass which makes it essentially impossible to draw a meaningful conclusion out of this games success

Yeah I went with the higher score for each, but they also received 84 on other platforms
FO4 got 84/100 on PC
Starfield got 84/100 on XboxProbably because fallout 4 was poorly optimized for PCs and starfield is 30fps on Xbox

It’s either aurora in the aid tab or some stolen artwork/human organs in the misc tab probably
