Sidequests are fire
Joined the gang people and they wanted me to blow up a hospital, thank god i have persuasion
Fixed power to a bunch of poor people and then I got arrested for it
Main quest sucks, the non purpose built planets suck, the constant menus while in space suck & ship combat is ok
Choices are awesome tho and some their best and involved ever and again side quests are great
Found a few random encounters as well that are dope too
Also the gameplay is good too

lol you doubted but here you are
Its basically Fallout 4s combat with a little but more polish which I have always liked Fallout 4 a lot (outside of the main quest which is the same thing here lmao, but the open world and side quest of F4 is top level plus the main quest of the two expansions)
I actually think Fallout 3 & NV combat is mostly ass tho even tho the rpg/choice elements are pretty high compared to F4
But nah I never hated on this game outside of the dumbass constant menus and no real time space flight which is still major ass
Its a good time tho I was always on the fence of being a hated or supporter of this - i dont think im a full supporter but im not a hater either im not mad at it overall

yeah main quest although not terrible isnt the main draw here
Also shout out xbox streaming service actually being good wtf
How the hell could Stadia not get this right but Microsoft can even tho its still in beta
Playing Starfield through streaming on my Xbox One S last gen wins again this s*** never dying

Yeah i never really cared about main story in Bethesda tbh for the most part
Skyrims is fine although i only beat it once while replaying multiple times doing other s*** like the mage guild, thieves den etc which are like single player campaigns in of themselves
I dont like Oblivion i didnt play it at the time it came out but playing it in retrospect whew that s*** is ass imo and incredibly tedious
Fallout 4 main story on its base game is mediocre especially once the factions start happening - its island dlc is great tho and the amusement park dlc is good
Fallout 3 is good and Fallout NV is great
Never played Morrowind
Thank god there is a lot good side content in this

Gamepass is so amazing s*** is black magic and its the most consumer friendly thing that has ever happened in gaming
I really dont think im buying a next gen console until a Bloodborne 2, God of War 6, Elden Ring 2 or Witcher 4 happens

I can see it being good for single players but it was living hell for multiplayer for me
fairly delayed response time
They should have made it explore a planet and interact with alien species or something that more works in the elements of the game that are neglected. Which I would say is definitely walking on planets with no loads and exploring on foot
I’ve actually been thinking about this
I agree they definitely should’ve found a more creative way to find artifacts and temples that encourage us to explore and use more of the games mechanics
They also should’ve gave us more of a reason to ng+ instead of just for weak powers and space suits. They should’ve added ancient weapons and armor made by the creators that you actually keep every ng+. Like only make a few generate every time like the temples. They also could’ve made powers level up and gain new abilities or temples that just increase how much mana you have. There’s just so many things they could’ve done with it to keep it interesting. I’m mad that the whole lore of the starborn is a giant quest for ultimate power but they put a cap on it. Like f*** it just let me ng+ 50 times and become an invincible god that can raise armies of the dead, That’s literally the lore of the game lol
Overall I think the ng+ mechanic is a super cool idea and think it’s awesome how it’s incorporated into the story but it feels like a waste of time rn with no really good rewards. Maybe they’ll add more to it in updates or DLCs

I have 1% of new game plusing to be honest. I don't want more power . Its cool if dialogue paths or side quest change but it can only change so much. I respect those that mainlined or got like 150 hours in or whatever . They don't embrace the starborn, aliens, space or humanity fully. It feels like there is more they want to say in the DLC. But in the current game it feels like they could have many side quest of literally surveying alien life, planets , resources , outpost that eases you into those systems. Floating outside in space and repairing a space station or flying in a direction where you couldn't always warp too sometimes had to fly slow but were able to walk around your ship and talk to crew or do something .
It hits in so many ways and I have made that clear on here . But some level of connective tissue feels missing throughout the game to truly deliver what they want to home . In some ways similar to FFXVI. Yes your companions respond to your actions in side quest . but there is still a wish the whole world responded to your actions more so. It would make choices even more agonizing if I knew they could have more later consequences that I couldn't immediately see.
They 100% accomplish a lot and there is a lot to learn . The multiverse twist is something I feel they could have leaned more into in so many different ways though . If that is really what they wanted to do

I guess we’re just gonna have to wait and see what they add in the future
This is the first time Bethesda has ever said they plan to add actual new features with free updates
Idk if it’s gonna be some really minor things here and there or they plan on straight minecrafting it and adding new features that make you wanna return to the game
i was playing sea of thieves multiplayer and had no issues

response time 1ms or?
Only did a few lil side quests after ng+ not really interested in doing much else with the game tho. Has it's flaws, could it being like bethesda's mass effect, but I'd hope they include sentient alien life whenever they make a sequel
Overall got more enjoyment out of it than any other bethesda game that wasn't oblivion
response time 1ms or?
i got it so long ago i can't remember
genuinely no issues with it so far
gonna get a better monitor when i get a pc though
