this came and went so fast
when the mod tools come out there will be tons of new content. Nothing big like Enderal or Legacy of the Dragonborn. Lots of fixes, new items, and side content though.
Performance infinitely better but I lost a 70 hour save some how when my windows corrupted. Modding the f*** out of it this time

LMAO
And he says the scope of Starfield dwarfs anything else they've made but it sure doesn't f***in feel like it

wide as an ocean but with the depth of a puddle

eh that description fits no man’s sky better, I was able to explore all 100ish Star systems in this game where as NMS is just trillions upon trillions of galaxies and the story is just poorly written text, no voice acting. so there’s no immersion into the world like with starfield
there’s a lot of actual depth to the 100ish hours of quests in starfield, even if a big chunk of the systems is just optional radiant quest type s***
and the potential for modding is insane so the big map size isn’t really a downside for me
"Fallout 76 made us much better developers"
hopefully they learned to never again give huge IP to some new team from across the country lmao
Finally found the will to pick this up again and push through the final main story missions
cool finale but the gameplay loop was so unsatisfying in this game it was basically non existent. Felt like zero reason to play. Only Bethesda where I would just walk past locked doors and safes and etc cause i didn't give a s***. Left three quarters of the side missions unfinished. Might be the biggest let down in my life of gaming.
Is Oblivion better than Starfield? I copped that on the Microsoft Store from the Black Friday sale
The 180 on Starfield is actually kinda nuts
There’s just been so many great games this year it’s so pale in comparison

people love the game and people also vocally hate it. seems about the same as when it first dropped tbh

I was iffy the moment I realized I had to navigate menus instead of space and it just got worse from there

I once claimed that it was the first true next-gen game worth a damn; boy was I wrong
I said that without having ever played a Bethesda game before, and without seeing any gameplay footage of Starfield
I ended up liking the Starfield-themed controller more than the actual game itself

I’ve been seeming a lot more hate for it since the game award noms, which of course a factor of people just hating on Xbox stuff for no reason comes into play with that.

yes, playing it through it right now actually with some mods and it's so immersive
I copped the Premium Edition Upgrade so I’m kinda forced to play the future DLC expansion, otherwise this would’ve been a complete waste of money
Todd Howard won this one

i’m hoping they’ve learned from and adjust some of their mistakes made in the main game for the dlc, far harbor was some of the best content in FO4 so there’s still hope we could get something really good
