There are mods tagged with “achievement friendly” so we can add some without disabling achievements

There is a "achievement friendly" tag on the store. BUT these (as of right now) are only on SOME creations made by Bethesda. Everything made by a creator / modder is NOT achievement friendly. This includes the "unofficial starfield patch"

So don't hope on any real mods with achievements enabled I guess

I really hope they save this game

Some of the core elements are really really good. As long as they focus on improving the ones that are really really bad I think it can be saved

No, there are melee weapon tiers though (like with guns) and you can mod melee wepaons on the workbench
