AldErsonWhy can’t our main character talk though? That’s kind of weird. In dead space we couldn’t talk but the remake had it and it made it so much better
The protagonist is silent in every BGS game except Fallout 4. I prefer it this way, much more immersive

so they had silent protag where the options you select are EXACTLY what you say and they can be long. In fallout 4 they changed it to voiced, and the options you chose are paraphrased... and sometimes didnt actually mean what your character says and it throws you out of the loop. Kinda how mass effect does it. RPG gamers mad so they went back to silent
