I use to wish Ghost was still alive in season 1 because the way Tariq was getting hoe'd use to blow me. His dad was practically running the city more or less, and these niggas just hoeing him around like s*** sweet.

If Mecca was Tariq's uncle, he would've probably tried to get involved in his life after knowing about him being involved in the Tejadas' business. Especially when he seems to push this narrative that family is everything to him. At the very least he would've helped get Jasmine out of the system.
