fiveprestoswhat do people like about pateks? not trying to be snide I just dont have much of a taste for watches and never understood why people like that face shape.
For me it’s the finishing and the legacy.
But they are the kind of movements and dress watches. So if you go outside of the sport models they get crazy.

Thinking of grabbing this Superocean sometime this summer. Usually not a huge Breitling guy but im a sucker for olive green. Saw one in person and it was super dope

Moving into boston within this month, gonna try to get as many connections in the watch scene as possible. The 5711 or honestly any nautilus would be a dream come true, but theres no way im paying 4x retail for one
I find Instagram is the best way to make watch connections. I found people who work at the stores and connected with them on IG. But if your local ADs have watch meet ups always go and show your face around.

Yeah, I’m 31 so those were the popular entry level boy watches back in my youth. I also owned some fashion watches like Hugo boss in high school. I still own all my early watches.

Man this brand is making a big comeback. The new 2021 release are looking great. I love how they are doing the heritage angle.

Yeah, you could get an AP. Peep the 15450 reference. The prices haven’t gone insane on those yet since they’re a tiny bit smaller.

either stainless or rare precious metal gem-set pieces

Just a little more context the current holy trinity of watch brands are AP, Patek and Vacheron.
There’s three modern independent brands which are about to take over the entire watch market and become the new trinity.
FP journe is basically the new patek
MB&F is the new AP
Moser is the new Vacheron
Their watches are insane and high sought after.Could you post some examples of some dope models from those up and coming brands? Just tryna see sumn

I had a white one lol one thing i give casio is that their watches are incredibly durable. i've never been a watch guy. s***, i can't even imagine spending more than $200 on a watch tbh

At the same time I love chatting music, fashion and watches online with like minded people. How much money I have means nothing. You can be broke and still like this stuff.

You don’t like Fp Journe and MB&F? Both brands are doing super exciting things. AP and Patek are very safe and turning into one trick ponies. Vacheron is still releasing some amazing things.
