Nah I’m straight
So besides the oak, the mint green dj, and the azurro, do you have anything else in the collection? Love those 3 pieces

Thanks! Nah that’s it for now. Need to stack paper for some other moves. Next watch will probably be when I get married
Jules Audemars 15056OR
Amazing. One of the better dress watches by AP

Pics dont do that subdial justice, it looks amazing in person
Theres a lot of cool references from the late 90s/early 00s that use this manually wound movement that can be had for steals, great option for anyone looking for a dress watch

Way better than the Code 11.59s (closest thing to a dress watch that AP makes). The vintage Jules Audemars are great for that. What else do you have?

Not huge on the 11.59s either, i like the smaller diameter and how thin the Jules was. Always felt like dress watches should be a little more lowkey
Current collection is a datejust 41 wimbledon, cartier santos large, submariner date 116610, and this AP jules
I def want more but i should probably take a break from blowing money on watches for a little while 😂

Haha I'm with you! That's a very solid rotation you got. I'm going to be on the sidelines for a while...unless something really sings to me (which I doubt).
Should I get this?

Black or Green?
Imo there are significantly better watches for this price

This is the general consensus on Shinola that I see online but I’ve never seen a watch quite like it and absolutely love the look of it. I also like that it’s a manual wind. Farer might be a better value but what does that actually mean?
I don’t necessarily think theyre bad, just expensive for what they are. If youre willing to go used, you start to see some Omega’s, Tudor’s and even IWCs at that price
If you want to stick with new only, theres some sick watches under 2k that can compete with almost anything. Hamilton Intramatic, Sinn 356 pilot, Tissot PRX chrono come to mind. Pretty sure theres even some options from Oris, Longines, Nomos etc under $2000
All great brands with a lot of history
For sure, thanks for the tips. I’ve wanted an IWC for years, always forget the exact one but I’ll find it and post it here at some point. Hamilton doesn’t impress me for some reason, I’ve been looking at Tissot a little, Omega and Nomos are nice. Don’t think I want to go used though.

Def not at that price. Get a PRX, Longines, Hamilton or anything else.
