Ok then die on this hill then idgaf lmao

thats a bit of a goofy mindset. again, if its 1957 do you not force the Phillies to accept black players in the National League because their all-white management, bench, and fanbase "don't want it"?

Interesting argument considering those championing "all trans leagues" like it were the new Negro leagues

Comparing issues does 0 good. Obviously in 1957 i would force the phillies to integrate despite having no public support. This issue is way more complex unless you can give me a study that definitively proves there isn't an advantage with trans women over cis women. And then you'd somehow have to convince the rest of america this same thing lmao

the hrt that trans women undergo is literally counterintuitive to achieving peak athleticism

  • i grown up playing coed soccer somme of them girls be whooping our ass

I mean i really just dont get how this became a cultural sticking point for both sides. Theres barely any trans athletes in the first place

A non-issue made to make ppl be homophobic.

Ppl talking all “ oH u cAnT cOmPaRe tO CiS wOmAn” when we just seen mad terf ass b****es and jk rowling just tell a CIS WOMAN boxing athlete that she was trans just because she had a “looked masculine.”

It’s clear a lot of ppl talking on this dont know nan s*** about biology.

  • Bird Boy

That doesn’t really help you cope any harder by promoting suicide

I never stated my actual stance on trans inclusion in sports in this entire thread — I’m not even inherently anti-inclusion

If the opinions of female athletes make you uncomfortable, that’s for you to reconcile with; it has nothing to do with me — it especially doesn’t justify telling another human being to kill themselves

Not saying you terf but using “but female athletes said it” isnt a good defense considering imane caught a lotta s*** basically because a b**** was a sore loser

  • make no sense they're women too

  • That’s where I’m annoyed because I didn’t use it as a defense/never made an argument for it — I made arguments to the literal opposite of that narrative

Someone just asked what was opinion of ciswomen college athletes and I replied with article showing that

This is like me replying to someone saying, hey what do Americans Jews think about Zionism and then I show a survey showing a majority are pro Zionist and people take the links I post and attribute the opinions in such links to me

My reply in the thread contradicts that entirely. The weirdo who went onto harassing and crashing out on me, conveniently ignored that reply on the previous page

I don’t think men and women have the same genetic makeup to produce the same levels of testosterone. so over decades of competition, they probably introduced a baseline of what the top athletes typically have for non-enhanced levels of testosterone and from there formed a baseline. so women who now score slightly above that range, but still nowhere near the levels of men, are probably disqualified. where as a female trans athlete is more likely to score closer to that level of a male athlete due to genetics

idk I haven’t read into it but I would think that’s the reasoning

The committee actually requires transwomen to keep they testosterone levels below 10 nmol/L for a year.

The average for women is below 3.7

There’s no limits for cis men in the olympics (which is quite odd) but it ranges for the average male athlete between 7.7 to 29.4 nmol/L

Meanwhile Caster Semenya was tested for levels that are in the male range even though she identifies as and born as a cis woman.

    apnews.com/article/caster-semenya-sex-eligbility-court-ruling-0ad6f46e1357659f8cc315dde7b01faf#:~:text=Semenya%20was%20identified%20as%20female,in%20the%20typical%20male%20range.

The fact cis men are exempt from testing makes this issue not just a trans issue but clearly a woman issue all around.

Because baseball and MMA are such an intellectual pursuits, right

The game and fights are objectively more boring than they were before 2016Ish

Maybe you are too young or you just weren’t watching consistently

It’s backed up by statistics by the way, the rate of finishing has gone down considerably ever since d*** testing has become more stringent

for MMA at least this isn't really true. 2021-2023 had some of the highest finish rates and bonuses awarded. UFC actually dumped USADA in 2024.
of course, almost everyone was still on steroids while USADA was in place, just being smarter about it e.g. buying designer d**** and microdosing.

certain weight divisions have been in steep decline though, like mens heavyweight. but things like lightweight and bantamweight have been amazing to watch in the past decade.

The statistic I saw around low finish rate was specifically around knockouts (should have clarified that). I don’t know where it was though, but I can dig for it.

I’m curious if what you’re citing is including submissions which probably have a lesser correlation to performance enhancers than KOs

  • it isn't even about sport
they just don't want trans ppl to be visible

they will do this w everything that bother them

yeah that's taking subs into account too.

we've seen some big adjustments to the meta strategies lately, a lot more greco roman wrestlefucking and BJJ has kinda been nullified a lot. striking defense has gotten a lot more sound as well.

but for KOs specifically, the new gloves may also have something to do with it. they're going out the window soon though.

this is a low sample but the data is interesting here.

I don't doubt that but it still could mean they have an advantage though
