Anyone else watching this? Surprised there's not a thread (unless I missed it). I'm a big fan of the book so I've been enjoying it so far, but it's structurally a mess. You guys digging the show? Think it's a trainwreck? Miss the old mini series?

My mom loves the book and original and says this one is alright so far. She’s disappointed they haven’t spent much time on the first act of the book

Yeah it's kinda weird how it jumps back and forth in time. Seeing it in scattered flashbacks definitely lessens the impact of the pandemic outbreak.

I heard this wasn't good but I'm gonna peep eventually because I love the book and the cast is good

It's not great but if you enjoyed the book you'll prob get some enjoyment. That's how I feel about it so far (three episodes out)

Fax. Idk, you'd think there'd be a ton of great horror and thriller movies based on his stuff but like you said it's very hit or miss. Loved the new It tho (part 1 -- part 2 was kinda iffy)

If I didn't love the book I wouldn't waste my time with it. I don't think it's terrible, but it's not good.
