Erykah ain't really do much on the feature, Tyrone wasn't called, there was no Telephone but she did phone it in
(Erykah has so many great features so it's not like she isn't capable of delivering a banger feature)Only a first listen tho, things can change

i feel like this was wayyyy more consistent than gemini rights, has to be his best i think but to each their own…. and i truly adore gemini rights but really not a single second wasted on this record
maybe off the first listen gemini rights had some higher highs but as far as consistency goes it’s a no from me, there’s some weaker songs on there compared to the rest…. can’t say that about this new one though i was seated & amused all the way through
really wanna pinpoint some highlights but i just can’t, it was all so good
and if I did so I would just spam this entire page lol (which i’m already doing in a way)

Overall pretty good, the middle had some very corny songs but the record finishes off very strong

·4 repliesThe last Steve Lacy album dropped when I first landed in Florence and I ended up meeting a beautiful girl there. We walked the entire day and night walking down alleys of the city listening to Gemini Rights & it’s been my favourite travel memory ever.
I forgot this was coming out, looking forward to checking it out.
Pure Colour needed a more commanding vocal performance, feels a bit aimless to me…
