It’s kinda distracting at points tbh
yeah s*** is cool in like one or two scenes like in the favourite but more than that is overkill
solid flick...not something I'd be in a rush to see again though...good acting though and some cool twists and turns...the cameo is fun too
Holy s*** when did Brendan Fraser become so fat?
he's getting ready for his next role in Aronofsky's new film about a 600 lb man

That’s so wild I didn’t hear about that. It’s so strange seeing him overweight

Even though he wore a fat suit it reminded me of Russel Crowe in The Loudest Voice
Yeah felt it was very straight forward and breezy. It’s well made (including the best cinematography oty, plebs crying about go pros really exposing themselves and they should stick to TV and MCU movies) and acted but feels like a one time watch. I will say there are some really interesting subtle moments of characterization like with Del Toro’s alcoholism that is hinted at in funny ways during the hostage situations which get shown later to be a result of his feelings of inadequacy that slip out during his convo of wanting a permanent reset when talking to Liotta. The shot of him holding that money is honestly kind of heartbreaking while also feeling almost like a Treasure of Sierra Madre moment
