This had so much potential to be a grounded thriller about UFO disclosure and so many moments to truly delve into themes of faith and humanity's reaction to something as monumental as existence of ET.

It started off like that but very quickly I realised that it wasn't gonna be that type of film and it turned into your standard Spielberg cheesefest (some of which I like btw), with "go here do that" plot lines and bumbling idiot FBI/DoD agents.
