I think when you bring it up as if I’m making these legends compete against one another is only when it becomes a problem: I’m comparing legendary figures to other legendary figures. There’s things Stevie are amazing at that Michael isn’t,there’s things Prince are amazing at that Stevie isn’t and vice versa.
No one’s putting down anyone until someone sees it that way.
“He’s musically better than Michael and maybe Prince”
Is putting these artists against each other, no matter how you look at it. You can appreciate Stevie without having to even mention the other two artists.

I agree,I didn’t have to mention Prince or MJ but at the same time,as music fans,we like to break down music and understand why someone is great. When I say Stevie is musically better,I’m pointing out that attribute. Stevie,MJ and Prince are all legends on the same hill, their the real Big 3.
Pretty much the only reason why I mentioned them. I can understand why you don’t agree but it wasn’t with I’ll intent,as a music fan,I like to compare.
One of a kind, definition of a masterpiece.
Just listened
His ability to depict romantic interest and even craft s***appeal in his music is just insane, esp when considering his image nowadays
He’s musically better then Michael and maybe Prince imo
he's indisputably better than michael jackson, nowhere near prince im afraid
All the lyrics, all the arrangements, almost all of the instrumentation, all the production
And then survives a car accident and a coma to drop two indispensible classics in the next three years.
Unbelievable talent
Man that man is amazing to me. Golden Lady made me want to play the keyboard in high school. I told my parents to get me a keyboard and s***
I’ve been on a Stevie kick lately as well @op
Higher Ground is a classic but Visions still hits hardest from Innervisions
never understood why songs to the key of life was considered his magnum opus instead of innervisions

Because its an ambitious artistic statement that delivers in both quantity and quality, and the culmination of Stevie Wonder’s 70’s run
It also has some of the best songs of all time in the pop/soul realm, let alone in the canon of Stevie’s discography

Prince stans really the most annoying out of the 3.
