it may go up 10% at most in a 2 week or so span but airline industry in general is gonna tank another 20-40% from peak in the next few months with everything going on. you may as well place some limit buys at various places under market price and just forget about them and be happy in 5 years when the 10% you couldve made at max turns into 500% instead and you're paying long-term cap gains on taxes

Idk man people keep saying that but stocks been rallying recently. They could come back down but doubt they will fall much lower than when hysteria was at its peak

little false rallies are common in bear markets and are likely due to whales manipulating the markets and giving hope back to the average investor and getting them to buy on the way back up only to f*** them once again. whales can swing the market and take advantage of these situations and volatility and just use times like these to shake out weak hands and accumulate more at lower prices. ive seen this before and given that this is completely an unprecedented time, no stimulus package will be enough to hold off the fact that we're still increasing corona new cases daily and had the 3 most daily increases in cases thus far in succession. these monthly additional "Stay at homes" are going to keep going until daily increases are way further than even beginning to decline and we're nowhere near that. while speculation has made the entire world economy greed stricken over these past 11 years that don't equate to actual profits and balance sheets whatsoever, a lot of harsh reality has yet to even sink in and i can say that with 100% confidence. timing the bottom is impossible, but i guarantee if you set some buys for stocks or etfs you're interested in holding long-term 15-40% lower than current price and just forget about it if you have cash to throw around you will be very happy in 5 years.

company valuations are still f***ed and the only companies that will be close to green in actual profits these next few quarters will be tech companies that can benefit solely off remote working and don't rely on physical supply chain and inventory. we've never been in a time where a recession which means people have less money is occurring at the same time as people literally forced to not do s***. both of those together over time will make sooo many companies extinct which is the harsh reality.

Look up what a call option is and it's variables then come back and see why it makes sense. Also note the expiration date of it at April 9.
    OP isn't shorting/buying anything

i read into it a bit still a little confusing to me but seems like a high risk high reward scenario that could either make you a lot of money really quick or f*** you. i wish OP the best i hope he strikes big use these big volatility swings as lessons to learn if anything. a lot of experience will be made these next 12-18 months in the markets

The entire point of options trading, you win or you don't. It's not like stocks at all.
