its obvious that sales would matter IF it wasnt for the fact that some genres just have more listeners which makes it subliminally unfair to say an album is better bevause it has more sales

the genre pop rap has been mainstream for over 30 years now, which popular artists like dmc run ll cool j to 50 cent and eminem and drake and arianna grande
why does the genre pop rap matter you ask? well its simple pop rap is mainstream accessible music so thats why more people listen to it

differences with real rap
now im not trying to be a hater but if you stan drake youre a goofy
anyway real rap just doesnt hve that accesible sound to it, that play it and everyone can enjoy it kinda thing. real eap requires a certain amount of iq and street knowledge (which seems to be missing with alot of you suburban dudes regardless of skin color) to understand the deeper meaning of bars so thats why not everyone is liking it, theyre just too dumb

what can we do to make it fairer
simple answer: simply nothing because theyre two different genres with two different fanbases which may or may not overlap at some times with parts of the fanbases in question
