i still get the feeling that tina does not fw david at all. chris frantz held that s*** together as tight as he could...dude was radiating with happiness.
it didn't help that spike lee was awkward af too he was asking basic questions, trying to fill the dead air as much as possible
I thought the response Spike got on reddit and twitter was unwarranted. He must’ve not known the beef was still in the air so if he was dealt a bad deck didn’t help he directed most of his questions to David, and he’s pretty awkward himself
caught an imax screening after work earlier ~ you all gotta see this on the biggest screen you can while it's still showing
easily a top 5 theatre experience of mine, first time viewing & this s*** was nuts
Incredible experience, lived up to my high expectations. I went in mostly blind, I’ve heard a handful of Talking Heads popular songs but can’t say i was a fan previously. This film is such a great introduction, I’m going to dive into their discography in full tomorrow. That Tom Tom Club joint has been in my rotation for the longest (caught it from always sunny surprisingly ), so hearing that out of nowhere blew me away. IMAX is the way to go for these type of performances, I’m so glad it was the way I saw it for the first time.

Yeah your review was all I needed. Gonna check it out. I have trued to get into Remain In Light but it never clicked. Hoping this film helps me see the light

Definitely catch it in imax! They did not play at all about remastering this, the audio and cinematography is crisp as hell. I had to remind myself at certain times this was filmed back in the 80s
So f***ing fire I got to bring friends who weren’t hip to this and they loved it. The imax quality was remarkable. Songs like ´What a Day That Was’ never wowed on the small screen but f*** this remaster how beautiful the imagery they were working with is.
Watched it yesterday in London, probs my fav movie now, this s*** is a masterpiece
Dropping in 2 months where I live.
Def gonna see it again, might drop some acid
@Danny did you check it out?
Yep. Wow.. Visuals add a lot. Watching it build song after song. Simply next level type of s***
Watched this for the first time ever last night stoned. Never been a big Talking Heads fan either.
Simply one of the coolest things I've ever watched. There's so much joy radiating from all the performers you can't help but feel good watching it. That Burning Down the House performance had me cheesing so hard man. It's a shame they broke up the way they did.
Gonna dive into their discog off the strength of this alone.
