The title's negativity is funny contrasted with them making the choice to put out indigo dyed stuff
and yes i did read the article to see how they choose a less harmful way to do it (nice edit )
sidenote i've been growing indigo but the non-native ones got killed off weeds outcompeted them
Joining the peace pants army word to @shw1n & @superhans
SS22 now live on site. some amazing stuff. would love the patchwork jacket but cant justify spending that much atm
pre ordered the blue bag so thats coming on monday
You got any pictures of the bag?
Considering some other items made with that fabric/print so it would be cool to see in hand + the bags themselves are really cool

The piece isn't about indigo as a whole, its there to tell people what we mean when we say we use 'natural indigo' vs what others may mean (because we aren't talking about the same thing.).
I wrote that several years ago when there was a sudden rush of new brands and products all claiming to use 'natural indigo' but being very loose with the term which made me worry people would lump us in (or, wonder why Levis can make a naturally dyed jean for half what we can if the processes are the same (they're not)).
Its also there to explain to people that we understand our craft and niche, and we aren't blind consumers/producers. The word 'natural' doesn't automatically mean better/more eco.
