Dis hard?
no
Just looked it up and this isn’t really based on a true story like it says?
I honestly quite enjoyed it but now I feel lied to
I liked this. The screenplay is basically perfect, but I understand the criticisms of it lacking a certain quality that all thrillers need.

got a chance to see this in the theater yesterday
i thought it leaned a lil too heavy on the tarantino inspo but in general it was a super fun movie with great unpredictable turns
makes me want to see the directors other work because it was admirable how he stretched every location to its limit to make the best of a small budget
also the cinematography was great, i loved the kodak film and it was mind blowing that giovanni ribisi shot it. idk if ive ever seen a an actor work as a DP, i loved a lot of their choices. the red with that film stock and the color grading is like the reddest red of all reds, which i love lol.
any gripes i had with the movie were truly minor, you could tell they spent a lot of time working every part of the story, production and editing felt very sure of itself.

Fargo (1996) OUT NOW
Knockoff Tarantino?
yea a little bit but doesn't go overboard imo. there's a bunch of title sequences (story's told in 6 chapters and out of order) so i get the comparisons but outside of a few moments, it's not Tarantino
This was pretty dope but pretty predictable. From the opening credits calling her The Lady and him The Demon I had a feeling s\*\*\* was prolly to throw you off. And then when I seen the chapters out of order I f\*\*\*ing knew she was gonna do some wild s\*\*\* in Chapter 2 to justify why bruh was tryna kill her and said to myself “I bet SHE is actual the serial killer”
@twitch VOD October 1st
