I haven’t rewatched S1 since it first came out, but I’m pretty sure there's a scene early on of Joyce talking to Hopper about Will being bullied for being “different” (if I remember correctly, some kids even called him a fairy). So anyone getting mad about Will being gay must have watched the show with the sound off.

I was just informed that there’s a stage play currently running that delves into the lives of the adults (+ Henry) when they were in high school. It apparently fleshes out a lot of things that are brought up but not fully explained in the show. Especially in regards to the whole thing going on with Holly. The people who’ve seen the play say they don’t expect the show to answer those questions because it’ll give people incentive to see the play.

Never seen slop with so much production and budget like this before.. Agents of Shield is probably the closest but even that slop wasn't anywhere close to have a production like this

But it did elevate the show somehow. Still big ol bowl of slop but they deserve at least some praise for committing to making the biggest slop of all time
