yeah when i say song writing i mean every aspect of writing a song. not just plugging in a verse. when you look at a song like loyalty where kendrick wrote everything he and rihanna say on it, or even element, he’s more than a great rapper. i honestly feel like he’s underrated in that regard

yeah music is very collaborative. but even outside of those songs, kanye has always used a lot of melody and real songwriting. i know dahi is actually singing on loyalty, but you can go back to a song like ADHD kendrick is basically singing the entire song. this was before his process was as group oriented as it is now

He's pretty good. Just want him to stop rapping entire verses in Spanish just because he was a high school Spanish teacher. Like it was a cool trick the first two times. That's a gimmick that will get old real quick.
