There isn’t one song on here better than the 5th best song on WATTBA.

    Middle of the Ocean

    Don't let nostalgia blind u

I think drake has higher highs on this album but as a collaborative effort Idk about that. Future got some legendary s*** on that album. I didn’t hear anything on here and say “oh this top tier 21 savage”

first post i’ve ever seen from you i agree with

Nothing to do with nostalgia, I think HNVM is Drake’s best work since 2015. I just don’t care for this project. I don’t see what sets it apart from his recent output. If anything, recency bias got folks jumping out the window.

Feels like 21 and Drake a more natural duo than Drake and Future

I’d want a tape from all 3 produced by 40 and Metro.

All 3 love R&B and Hndrxx and Drizzy do both Rap & R&B very well. And Savage is good with Melody. Also the rap songs would HITTTT

streets is wrong but only because we heard most of this already

WATTBA clears this just because it was new for drake at the time period.

this whole album sufferes because it's kinda the regular expected drake album with great moments that we've heard already done in ways we've heard em done already

outside of some songs with expirementation. this s*** was prolly a layup to make for Drake.

middle of the ocean is only a great song on the album because of drake nostalgia.

we've heard every flow / beat on that joint a couple times from drake.

we had that song before it dropped

You aren’t wrong at all, every great Drake rap song sounds exactly the same these days

But context doesn’t ruin that track for me and the second half is a little refreshing in its own way

Both can co-exist and be brilliant collab projects lol
