Honestly, I didn’t want to say it, but it has to be said now. This is Drake’s best album in general. Obviously, Savage’s best too despite this really being a Drake album.

I think drake has higher highs on this album but as a collaborative effort Idk about that. Future got some legendary s*** on that album. I didn’t hear anything on here and say “oh this top tier 21 savage”

I mean what does top tier 21 savage even sound like? He delivers pretty much what you expect everytime

  • Nov 4, 2022

    Streets is done

  • On first listen, I think it’s better because it plays to both of their strengths instead of Drake hopping on Future’s strengths. Both brought their vibes and it meshed really well

  • I think I’d have to wait much longer before I consider ranking this thing. I think they’re both somewhat quickly put together projects, with WATTBA definitely dominated by Future’s sound and this album being kind of Drake-dominated in sound but heavily leaning in to the Atlanta sound of things. I think WATTBA def had the sports venue anthems sort of appeal going for it, but the bars kinda lacked. Drake is more consistently good on this album than he’s been since IYTS in my mind but he underutilized 21 a bit.

21 didn’t have enough time to shine and get into those fun little flows he often breaks into like halfway through verses. Would love to hear 21 on more 3AM-type songs, however.

I’m not quite ready to say best but it’s top 3 and could climb higher for me

Half of WATTBA was top tier while the other half was okay. It was made in like 6 days and you can tell.

  • Nov 4, 2022

WATTBA a classic, this disrespectful tbh

Also they play on another league, this a solo Drake album disguised as a collab WATTBA a true collab project
