he has swing for sure but considering this is his last TDE album (which i would assume means the last opportunity for them to get paid off his music) i'd imagine they would want some length of rollout to hopefully increase sales and that kenny wouldn't be likely to say "nah f*** off it's surprise dropping" unless his relationship with top dawg and punch has completely deteriorated already (possible i suppose considering he's not gonna be on the label anymore but i find it less likely than unlikely)

and even if he wanted to tell them to f*** off they'd probably have some legal/contractual recourse to control when it drops
