GKMCIn terms of it being democratic the Executive appoints the justices and Legislative approves them its not much different to the people not directly voting on laws.
The whole point of the Supreme Court is checks and balances. They can only overturn laws they think are unconstitutional.
All it takes is five justices having a common agenda and enough brains to lie to entirely endanger and subvert the direction of the country

May 10, 2022judicial review hasn't been used in 3 years. it's not very relevant, but it's a necessary check on a legislature that thrives off of majority and party leaders. why is this even a discussion?
