Kendrick does the same thing but you confused mkers think it's the best thing ever so I'm just gon chalk this up to KTT hypocrisy/rap dysmorphia as usual.
If this was Kendrick they’d be writing 50 page literary a***yses coming up with s*** he probably isn’t even talking about.

What is competition? I'm tryna raise the bar high
Who tryna jump and get it? You're better off tryna skydive
Out the exit window of five G5's with five grand
With your granddad as the pilot, he drunk as f***, tryna land
With the hand full of arthritis and poppin' prosthetic leg
Bumpin' Pac in the cockpit so the s*** that pops in his head
Is an option of violence, someone heard the stewardess said
That your parachute is a latex condom hooked to a dread

Now tell me wtf Kendrick just said
Em can only compete with weak niggas like Lil B
Lil B a GOAT you clearly have WOAT taste.
Tshirts and Buddens greatest diss OAT
I swear if Em would stop rapping like niggas can’t hear him, he songs would be so much better. He had one of the best flows and deliveries from 1999-2004 (peak being 2001-2003) and son came back and lost it.
horrible rock-sample beat, stupid word-salad rhyming random stuff like "Air Maxes in my closet, preposterous Nikes made out of ostrich
And the cross stitching is a cross mixing
Of a rhinoceros, possum skin, giraffe and a dolphin
Fin, cotton Dockers, OshKoshes, drop crotches"
3 years later Revival comes out
when Em decided to get sober he low-key got an opportunity to dive deeper into rap in terms of his technical skill and it killed his career. If I'm remembering right, he himself even said in a Revival interview that rhyming words is easier than it ever was but making songs really got hard for him. Not acting like he'll never make a good song again or even that I don't find a song I occasionally enjoy in his new music but what made his Early music so great was the lyrical complexity was often paired with great melodies. I think after as long a career he's had, some type of fall-off was inevitable but it sucks that such a great songwriter (in my opinion) is now making essentially novelty songs.
