Got the gang starr shirt for my gf’s dad, but had to stand in line.

Mostly kids from 13-17 in front of the store, employee told me that this has been happening nearly everyday lately, mostly tourists. None of them were there for the gang starr collab either, they all just went for the world tour shirts, local chapter shirts or whatever else had a big logo.

Stussy amsterdam. It’s in the most touristy part of town, so the end of covid restrictions and growing stussy hype really did a number on the place.

Tried to get a portishead tee 1 day after the drop a few months back and the employee told me it was sold out. I used to be able to come in a day later and just browse the shelves. Asked him about it on friday while getting the gang starr tee and he said the kids buy up the world tour stuff first (which is ugly as f***, but more power to them lol), but grab whatever tee has a logo once it’s gone, even if they don’t know about it being a band tee

Also they were already wearing martine rose hoodies last friday.
