Where did you get the zippers and original hat from (unless you made that too) and how did you attach the zippers?
Original hat was thrifted- i cut it into two pieces, zippers are both from jackets I also thrifted, I just cut those off and then sewed them onto the grid patterned fabric which is from a pair of pants I also thrifted.
Thrifting is my favorite way of sourcing fabrics and materials, usually a lot cheaper and it's a good way to make sure all those clothes don't just go to waste.
