Finished my first base and the game immediately pulls you so far away you have to build another one

Wish it was a bit more of a slow burn, hopefully they add some padding to the beginning

this kinda blows i don’t like it at all

i just finished the story they have so far for early access, it took me 23 hours total.
i never played the first game. i generally hate horror games, but this game in particular really drew me in.

the world feels so huge, nearly endless in the beginning. the story and lore are really cool to me. the game really made me push myself to go into some truly terrifying locations. the whole thing is eerie and tense, especially at night. hearing things try to eat me through my headset in pitch black water when i'm hundreds of meters away from my base was creepy af. i enjoyed it so much though, im a huge fan. im super happy i decided to give this game a chance. and in the end, it actually wasn't as scary as i imagined it was going to be. i just played as safe as i could.
